– The she-wolf you feed is the she-wolf that wins.
– She is glorious and radical.
– Gender norms or stereotypes do not oppress her.
– She is wild and free.
In Vanessa Veselka’s essay in The American Reader she writes, “A man on the road is caught in the act of becoming. A woman on the road has something seriously wrong with her. She has not ‘struck out on her own.’ She has been shunned.”
She-wolves have not been shunned; they have chosen to be there!
I will be sharing my thoughts on how to raise one of these healthy, independent she-wolves and how to be one yourself, or maybe you already are and just don’t know it yet. You’ll find some great tools here to help you along the way, such as book reviews, movies, games, art, and more, that will inspire the she-wolf in you all – all with female protagonists.
